        Dear Residents,

Most of you would have seen the menu for the first social dinner of the year circulated late yesterday. We want to continue with the momentum
of the last three events in December.

Attached you will also see the small a la carte menu we will be starting service with next week. As in any business the expenses need to be justified by
the revenues and we have therefore decided to take a calculated but cautious approach. We will start with this small selection and gauge support and
then expand and change the selection in line with what we hope will be a growing demand.

We will also start service with minimal staffing from Fedics for our daily operations supported by the Evergreen Team and additional resources to help
cater for social dinners and other events.

Sonnehof Bistro service will be as follows:

Operating Hours

  *   Kitchen and service (a la carte):
Monday to Friday 09h00 to 16h00 - (last food orders at 15h30)


  *   Coffee:
Available 24/7 on an honesty & self-service basis - (currently charged to resident village accounts but will revert to a direct settlement with Fedics)
(Please note that the coffee consumption although managed on an honesty basis is reconciled and not all the current consumption is being recorded.
This means that some residents are consuming products without accounting for it. If we cannot balance this expense on an honesty basis, the service
will have to revert to only being available during bistro operating hours.)


  *   Dinner:
Tuesdays, seating from 18h00
Fridays, casual seating or takeaway dinners until 18h00 - (when advertised)

Bookings

  *   Dinner and special events must be pre-booked.
  *   Social dinner booked close on a Friday at 14h00.
  *   All other menus are served on an à la carte basis but can also be pre-booked.
  *   As we are starting off small please be sure to book for any groups.

Bar Service

  *   Until further notice all alcoholic beverages will function on a "BYOB" basis.
  *   All other beverages (Soft drinks, waters etc) must be purchased from Fedics.

Private Events

  *   Residents are welcome to make use of any of the facilities outside catering serviced hours for private get-togethers and events.
  *   We do ask that arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure everything you might require is prepared on time.
  *   Bookings are also essential so that we can advise you of any other bookings in the clubhouse at the same time.
  *   Please note that any equipment used must be cleared to the kitchen after use and that no food may be left in the kitchen or fridges after events.

Still to come

  *   Should there be adequate support of the bistro service  - some ideas that are in progress are:

  *   A flexible but more substantial lunch menu that will include a take-away option to be enjoyed at home.
  *   A monthly Sunday lunch buffet
  *   Weekend service
