Coming up this week:

  *   Regular Art Classes offered by Anastasia will be held in the Bistro every Monday at 2:30pm. Residents can reap great benefits from art including improvement of cognition, sensory stimulation and sharpening memory. If you are interested, please contact Anastasia on 072 766 9573.

  *   Canasta club, hosted by Jacky Orton, will be held in the Clubhouse every Monday at 3pm. Canasta is the most traditional and loved card game by all. It is an exciting mix of strategy, luck and skill. Beginners welcome. For additional information, please contact Jacky Orton on Ext 131.

  *   Ageless Grace class will take place every Thursday morning at 10am in the Games Room. R 40pp per class. If you are interested, please contact Pat on 083 366 2790. The Ageless Grace exercises focus on the healthy longevity of the body, mind, emotion and spirit. All exercises are practiced sitting in a chair and are movements that are natural and organic.

  *   The Evergreen Health and Wellness Fair will take place on Tuesday, 25 February from 9am till 1pm in the Bistro. Join us for a complimentary health screening, health presentations and information stands. Please see attachment for the various presentation times.

  *   On Wednesday, 26 February, please join us for a presentation in the Bistro to discuss “The Conversation” at 10am.

  *   Out of Africa Themed Evening will be held in the Clubhouse on Friday, 28 February. R165pp. Please book with Sheila in the Bistro on Ext 200.

  *   Open days every Sunday for the month of March from 2pm till 4pm at the Apartments.

Forthcoming events:

  *   Village Bring & Braai – Sunday, 1 March at 12h30 – Please join us for lunchtime Bring & Braai at the clubhouse, Bring and braai your own meat and drinks. The committee will provide salads, rolls and dessert. R70pp. Please book and pay with reception by Thursday, 27 February for catering and seating purposes

  *   2020 Over 50’s Cricket World Cup will take place from Tuesday, 10 March till 24 March. Free Entry. Please see attached poster advertising the 2020 Over 50’s Cricket World Cup. We have attached the fixtures and match schedule for your attention.

  *   The Silver Giltedge Travel Club will be having a short travel talk in the Clubhouse on Wednesday, 4 March at 10:30am. Please book with reception for seating purposes.

  *   Movie Night - 7 March at 7pm – The Railway Man. Please book with Paddy Fordyce on Ext 152 for seating purposes.
