Coming up this week:

  *   Regular Art Classes offered by Anastasia will be held in the Bistro every Monday at 2:30pm. Residents can reap great benefits from art including improvement of cognition, sensory stimulation and sharpening memory. If you are interested, please contact Anastasia on 072 766 9573.

  *   Canasta club, hosted by Jacky Orton, will be held in the Clubhouse every Monday at 3pm. Canasta is the most traditional and loved card game by all. It is an exciting mix of strategy, luck and skill. For additional information, please contact Jacky Orton on Ext 131.

  *   Ageless Grace class will take place every Thursday morning at 10am in the Games Room. R 40pp per class. If you are interested, please contact Pat on 083 366 2790. The Ageless Grace exercises focus on the healthy longevity of the body, mind, emotion and spirit. All exercises are practiced sitting in a chair and are movements that are natural and organic.

  *   Classical Music Evening will be held on Wednesday, 19 February in the Clubhouse at 7pm. Vltava (The Moldau) played by Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra, Violin Concerto in A Minor played by Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich with violinist Julia Fischer and Siren Sounds Waltz played by the Orchestra of St Luke’s. Hosted by Herman Poelmann. Please book with reception on Ext 300 for seating and catering purposes. Salty snacks will be available and you are welcome to bring your own wine and refreshments.

  *    Please join us for a fun afternoon watching the last cricket match of the Evergreen Lifestyle Cape Veterans T20 match:

- On Wednesday, 19 February at 4pm: Claremont vs Rondebosch at Rondebosch Cricket Club. Please book with reception on Ext 300 by Monday, 17 February

  *   A Sales Function will take place in the Bistro on Wednesday, 19 February from 10am till 12 noon.

Forthcoming events:

  *   2020 Over 50’s Cricket World Cup will take place from Tuesday, 10 March till 24 March. Free Entry. Please see attachment poster advertising the 2020 Over 50’s Cricket World Cup. We have attached the fixtures and match schedule for your attention.

  *   The Evergreen Health and Wellness Fair will take place on Tuesday, 25 February from 9am till 1pm in the Bistro. Join us for a complimentary health screening.

  *   On Wednesday, 26 February, please join us for a presentation in the Bistro to discuss “The Conversation” at 10am.

  *   Out of Africa Themed Evening will be held in the Clubhouse on Friday, 28 February. Please book with reception on Ext 300.

  *   The Silver Giltedge Travel Club will be having a short travel talk in the Clubhouse on Wednesday, 4 March at 10:30am. Please book with reception for seating purposes.
