[Evergreen Bergvliet] ELV BGV>Circular #49 = Apartments Snags - Contractors on Site September 2020*

        Dear Resident

Please be advised that we are allowing contractors into the village to complete their repairs, remedial work and snags for the apartment building from Monday, 31 August 2020. They will be on-site for the month of September. They will attend to both internal (vacant and occupied apartment) and external snags of the new apartment buildings whilst they are in the village.

Contractors will follow strict COVID-19 protocols from the moment they enter the village and will be supervised by Willem Roux, EPI project manager who will work with BL Williams and their contract crew. Both managers will be on-site permanently for the duration of September whilst internal and external remedial work is being undertaken. It has been agreed that only small teams of contractors be allowed into the apartments to deal with specific snag items.

In order to attend to the sewer line where a suspected pipe is blocked and/or broken, the contractors will need to close up the entrance to the basement parking at units 47 and 48 and enclose the area. Hoarding will be erected across the road and no entrance will be allowed into the basement. Obviously, no cars may remain in this area and no access will be allowed to either resident storerooms or refuse area whilst snags are being undertaken.  This particular item will take approximately 15 days.

We kindly request that Apartment residents use the basement exit (boom will remain in the open position) to gain entry into the basement parking allowing for two-way traffic.  Traffic cones will be placed in spots to direct traffic, please travel slowly and check the convex mirrors for on-coming cars, in both directions before proceeding into or out of the basement.

We kindly request ALL communications come through the management office and EPI project manager, whilst the contractors are on site, please do not engage with contractors directly whilst they are working at the apartments or in your unit.

Please wear your mask at all times and be safe, practice social distancing and heath/hygiene protocols whilst they are in your environment.
