        Dear Residents

The time has come to say goodbye to Sister Jenny Mackenzie who will be taking up her new post as mentioned a while ago. We are happy to announce that Sister Pam Duncan will be bridging the gap and looking after our residents until the new appointment is made early in the new year. Sister Duncan is no stranger to the Evergreen Villages as she has previously worked at both Bergvliet and Diep River. Please make her feel welcome over this period.

Remember, that if you have an emergency the first thing to do is to press your Red Button on the Telecare medical emergency unit. Do not hesitate as the unit is linked to a medical emergency call centre and at the touch of a button an emergency protocol gets put into place. The Telecare unit also provides a link to our healthcare centre that is staffed 24 hours a day and 24/7.

The system has three buttons: the yellow button which contacts the Healthcare Centre in the village directly; the blue button which is the monitoring call and the red button which contacts Telecare directly in the event of an emergency. If you believe that you or your partner is experiencing a medical emergency, do not hesitate to push the red button. The call centre is managed 24/7 and medical help will be dispatched
