[Evergreen Muizenberg] Evergreen Health Journal and some Forthcoming Attractions

        Dear Resident,

Please find attached as part of our on-going Health Journal to Residents series.
This time we are dealing with Atrial Fibrillation which can be a dangerous condition,
it dramatically increases the risk of a Stroke, by much as five-fold. Commonly known
as AFIB or AF, it is a condition that causes the upper chambers of the heart to beat irregularly
and extremely fast.

Some more exciting activities and reminders for the next few days and week.

Frogfoot will be back on Thursday 21st to visit residents and inform them of the very affordable
specials that they are running at the moment. Please contact reception if you would like them to
visit you at your home, they are here from 11.00 am. See poster attached

Thank you to all those residents and staff who entered the Melktert  'bake-off' in aid of Mandela Day
and who then subsequently donated their tert  to raise money for the day. Money collected will be
donated to a worthy cause.

  *   Outing to SANCCOB in Table View, Friday 29th, this will include a guided tour around

the facilities, finishing off with a tea and eats. R200.00 per person. Seven spaces left.

  *   Oefen Afrikaans, derde Dinsdag van elke maand, more 19 Julie.
  *   Poetry Club, third Wednesday of every month, Wednesday 20 July
  *   Bingo, twice a month, next one, Thursday 21 July
  *   Camera Club last Monday of the month, Monday 25 July.
  *   Music Appreciation Evenings, presented by our own choir mistress and music aficionado,

Meryl Preston. Every second Thursday, next one 28th July
