ARTSCAPE CELEBRATES YOUTH MONTH

Artscape remains committed to showcase young talent during Youth Month with a number of exciting productions. Patrons visiting the cultural institution over this period will experience an array of performances detailing social ills and historical connections, as well as the annual Youth Jazz Festival concert.Artscape prides itself in its flagship Youth Month project, which aims to give young artists the opportunities they deserve.

Artscape equally forges international cultural partnership. One of those is the Edinburgh Festival Carnival in Scotland that runs an international emerging artists exchange programme, where dancers from South Africa and Scotland visit each country in an exchange that most marginalised youth only dream of….

The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to announce its largest season since the onset of Covid-19 – a Winter Symphony season at the Cape Town City Hall with five concerts, one on every Thursday night in June at 20:00.
