[Evergreen Diep River]

        Dear Resident

I would like to update you on the External Painting and Refurbishment of the building.

Lance Colborne, Highpoint Contractor's, has been given the go-ahead to proceed with this contract. He is currently finalising all the items/purchase orders required for him to commence the job at Diep River. He is arranging his team, hiring scaffolding, buying paints and equipment to bring on site as well as the container to store his paraphernalia at the end of each working day.

The intention is for them to set up and prepare the site. They will commence on the repair of the external patios on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Thereafter, they will move onto the external walls of the East side (Bistro) and then work around to the north, west and finally south side of the building. We expect them to be here for a few months.

In addition, we had the project team come through to inspect resident issues in the bathrooms on Monday  morning. They will be putting a plan together and will confirm progress as soon as possible. They have confirmed that they will not be able to address any of the internal cracks and damp issues until the external work has been completed and we will keep you updated.

We respectfully ask that when the contractors are on site, please do not approach them, don't instruct them to do anything or request that they work in your unit. If you have any thoughts on the work being undertaken, please approach Management with any queries that you may have and we will address these areas.  We can't wait for them to start their contract and to benefit from the "new look" in the near future.
