Dear Resident,

While WhatsApp offers a quick and convenient way to communicate, it appears to have taken over the primary communication channels established within the Village.

Many of the team members work shifts and when on duty frequently move around the village and may not always check phones. Therefore, I kindly request that residents limit the use of WhatsApp to appropriate topics and times rather than a convenience to replace emails and the internal phone lines. Receiving messages outside of working hours and through the wrong channels can affect the response times and is unnecessary when other team members are available on-site to assist.


  *   Reception will continue to act as the "traffic controllers," relaying any requests to the appropriate team members. Reception can be reached on extensions 5700 and 5707 from your internal telephone.
  *   The office hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, Saturday 08:00 to 16:00, and public holidays from 08:00 to 16:00. Please utilize this on-site resource during these hours.

  *   General day to day operational matters should not be treated like an emergency and must be addressed during office hours through the correct communication channels.
  *   For emergencies, the Duty manager on call along with any other senior member of management will always be available.
  *   For Medical emergencies, always press your Namola first.
  *   Residents are requested to report all maintenance related matters to MaintenanceVdV at evergreenlifestyle.co.za<mailto:MaintenanceVdV at evergreenlifestyle.co.za>, maintenance matters will only receive attention if reported through this channel.
