PREPAID ELECTRICITY METER SOFTWARE UPDATE
The current City of Cape Town prepaid electricity metering software expires at the end of 2024 for all prepaid electricity meters. We are confident that our prepaid meters in the village have been updated. However, if you would like to verify this update, please follow the instructions below.
Verification Process:
1. Enter the following number into your meter:
1844 6744 0738 4377
1. Check the display screen:
* If the screen displays KNR 2, your meter has been successfully upgraded and will accept tokens going forward.
* If the screen displays KNR 1, your meter still needs to be recoded.
Should you require assistance, kindly contact reception on Ext 3200.
