[Evergreen Bergvliet] Proposed Service Offerings - Geysers and Garage Doors

Dear Residents

We are looking at these offerings based on Residents interest shown for these services to be carried out. This would be a Residents cost.

Would you kindly contact Reception to advise if any of these service offerings would appeal to you so we can see the interest and take it from there.

GEYSERS

The following will do done when carrying out a service:

  *   Drain the geyser and clean out the inner drum.
  *   Change the anode
  *   Change the element and thermostat ( only if necessary, will confirm the condition of the element once the geyser has been drained and the element removed)
  *   Change the flange rubber.

The average cost of a geyser service if the element and thermostat need replacing is +- R 2850.00 ex vat.

I just need make you aware that if we drain and service a geyser that is more than 8 years old it runs the risk of bursting. The reason for this is because the geyser's steel tank has been under pressure for such a long period of time and you drain the geyser the sudden expansion and contraction might cause the geyser to burst.

GARAGE DOOR SERVICING

*         Check all hinges, tracks and cables

*         Alignment of doors to be checked

*         Cables and chain to be tensioned where required

Excluding any replacement parts that may be required.

Total contracted price (incl. of Vat @ 15%) per door - R524.00 per door

We would like to see how many Residents are interested in this service. The service takes between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. We will need to ensure 5 Garage Doors are booked on a day to keep the cost  as is as. There would be an increase in cost if less than 5 booked per day.
