Coming up this week:

  *   Regular Art Classes offered by Anastasia will be held in the Bistro every Monday at 2:30pm. Residents can reap great benefits from art including improvement of cognition, sensory stimulation and sharpening memory. If you are interested, please contact Anastasia on 072 766 9573.

  *   Canasta club, hosted by Jacky Orton, will be held in the Clubhouse every Monday at 3pm. Canasta is the most traditional and loved card game by all. It is an exciting mix of strategy, luck and skill. For additional information, please contact Jacky Orton on Ext 131.

  *   Ageless Grace class will take place every Thursday morning at 10am in the Games Room. R 40pp per class. If you are interested, please contact Pat on 083 366 2790. The Ageless Grace exercises focus on the healthy longevity of the body, mind, emotion and spirit. All exercises are practiced sitting in a chair and are movements that are natural and organic.

  *   Evergreen Sundowner Evening will be held on Wednesday, 12 February at 5:30pm in the Clubhouse. Live entertainment, Oldies but Goldies - a trip down memory lane by James and Monique. Drinks & snacks will be served. No charge. Please book with reception on Ext 300 by no later than Monday, 10 February for catering purposes. We look forward to seeing you there!

  *   Bingo night on Friday, 14 February in the clubhouse at 6pm. Join us for a fun-filled evening. R60pp. Please book with reception on Ext 300 for catering purposes as a light meal will be served.

  *   Sunday Roast Lunch on Sunday, 16 February at 12:30pm. R180pp.  Starter: Prawn Cocktail, followed by Beef Fillet with prosciutto and red wine sauce, dauphinois potatoes, asparagus, hollandaise sauce and carrots with roasted walnuts in orange juice. For dessert, Berry and Cream Meringue Roulade and coffee. Please book with Reception on Ext 300 by Thursday, 13 February. You are welcome to bring your own wine and refreshments. Should you require any further information please contact Yvonne Whitford on Ext 114.

  *   A Pool Tournament will be hosted at Evergreen Muizenburg on Thursday, 13 February at 3pm. Should you require any further information or if you are interested, please contact reception on Ext 300.

  *   Classical Music Evening on Wednesday, 19 February in the clubhouse at 7pm. Hosted by Herman Poelmann. Please book with reception on Ext 300 for seating and catering purposes. Salty snacks will be available and you are welcome to bring your own wine and refreshments.

  *    Please join us for a fun afternoon watching the last two cricket matches of the Evergreen Lifestyle Cape Veterans T20 match:

  *   Village traffic flow: Vehicles are required to travel down the main road from guardhouse past the clubhouse, up to the apartments and out of the village in a circular direction. Please see attached diagram. We appreciate your cooperation.
