Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 2 April will start at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving Crumbed pork Sirloin served with apple sauce and gravy OR Smoky fish pie with potato rosti topping both served with seasonal vegetables. This will be followed with  a trio of ice cream chocolate sauce and almonds. R140pp. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300 by no later than Monday, 01 April at 12-noon. Please pay for your dinner by lunchtime on Tuesday. You are very welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Western Province Catering (WPC)
Residents are enjoying the special lunches, delicious breakfasts, light meals and toasties every day. Please also note that WPC have arranged that prepaid accounts & credit card facilities are available in the Bergvliet Coffee Shop for your convenience.

-       Quiz Night  - Thursday 11 April at 6pm – R60.00 – bring your own refreshments

-       Unique Health – Care Plan Presentation on Tuesday, 02 April at 3pm – Tea served

-       Men’s Breakfast on Thursday 3rd April at 9am

-       Easter Sunday Roast Lunch on 21 April at 12.30pm

Village Housekeeping items:

-       Excavation of entrance to apartment garage - The construction team has completed the temporary vibracrete fence and installation of security fence between units 47/48 and will mow start work on excavating the entrance to the garage.

-       External painting - The painting team has will complete Units 10-17 this week. Our Evergreen village team will be able to assist you with whatever you need. Please call me if you need help, have any queries or require any additional information at this stage.

-       Site Visit - A survey by Biff Lewis Geomatics Inc. of all houses within the village will continue between 01 April -05 April from 08:00 to 17:00 on weekdays only. This forms part of our efforts to correctly record all building information within the village. Lindy from Biff Lewis Geomatics Inc. may require access to the unit to ensure that everything is captured properly. In this event, we will contact you to make an appointment.

Resident Survey:  Thank you so much to all those residents who have already responded to our survey and we look forward to receiving the balance of the surveys by the deadline on Monday, 01 April. Your responses are very helpful in assisting us to respond to your needs and improve our service delivery.

NB - Staff ID Required – Please remember to inform your staff that we require a copy of their ID book in order for them to gain entry to Village, with our new scanner security system. We invite them to stop by the office and we will take a photocopy of their ID book to keep at security to make it easier to gain access. We would like to do this for all staff. by no later than Friday 7 April. If they don’t bring in their ID’s or official documents by this deadline, then we will have no option but to deny them access to the village. We appeal to you, our residents to encourage your workers to comply.

We were sad to see Elvirah Daniels go today. She was a great help to the village and will be joining Kim Whitworth at our Noordhoek Village..
