What’s happening next week 26/06/2017 – 02/07/2017

We would like to wish Yvonne Whitford (Unit 14) a Happy Birthday for 28th June.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 27 June at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Pork fillet with bacon & prunes OR Grilled hake with parsley & lemon sauce served with garlic mash & seasonal veg. This will be followed by Crépe suzette with ice-cream and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 26 June 2017. No late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

A presentation on Estate planning and curatorship will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday, 28 June at 3pm. Refreshments and Snacks will be provided after the talk. Please contact Andréa on Ext 300 by 3pm on Monday, 26 June to confirm your attendance for catering and seating purposes. It promise to be a very informative presentation.

Our Indian themed evening dinner will take place on Friday, 30 June at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Butter chicken/Lamb curry served with jasmine rice & sambals. Please book with Andréa at reception on Ext 300 by Tuesday, 27 April. Cost is R150 per person.

A delicious Soup in a Jar will be available every day from next week Monday, 26 June to eat in the Bistro or to take-away. Cost: R60 per jar (serves two). Please call Amanda on Ext 200 to place your order.

We are planning to hold an Arts & Crafts display on Saturday, 9 September. With our newly renovated clubhouse, we can accommodate more tables for residents to display their Art/Craft. Please diarise this date. If you have any questions or you wish to participate in the exhibition, please contact Felicity Walker on Ext 142.

Please note that we will be collecting all Fire Extinguishers next Wednesday, 28 June and Thursday, 29 June in order for them to be serviced. Roshaan & Joseph will collect units 01 to 35 on Wednesday morning and units 36 to 65 on Thursday morning. If you are planning to go out on either of those days, will you kindly drop off your fire extinguisher at reception. Please note that this service is for your cost and will be charged to your levy account next month.
