What’s happening next week 11/12/2017 – 17/12/2017

We would like to wish Mike Uys (Unit 08) a very Happy Birthday for 13 December.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 12 December is at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Grilled hake with a garlic & herb crust OR Savoury mince pancakes topped with a cheese sauce both served with seasonal veg & parsley baked potatoes. This will be followed by peanut, chocolate & caramel sundae & Coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book with Andréa on Ext 300 and pay by no later than 12pm on Monday, 11 December. No late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

Evergreen Bergvliet are doing a special gift drive for our designated charity, HOPE HOUSE. We appeal to all residents to buy a small toy for a child between the ages of 0-12 years. Please place your gift in the box provided at reception and be sure to identify the present with a small label, including information on whether it’s for a boy/girl and age. This will make it easier for distribution by “Santa” to the children. We will be handing these over to Hope House via Veronica Lamson, unit 57, by no later than Wednesday, 13 December.

Join us for our Sunday Lunch on 17 December at 12:30pm. A cold buffet with a selection of meat and delicious salads, followed by dessert & tea/coffee. R165 per person. Please book and pay with Andréa by no later than Friday, 15 December or contact Yvonne Whitford on Ext 114.

As you all know we currently have a "no gift" policy with regards to our staff at Evergreen Villages. However, as pointed out in the circular sent our earlier, this policy is relaxed over the Christmas period and we accept voluntary contributions to a "Christmas Fund" that will be managed by two members of Mancom and which will be distributed equally amongst the village staff. Please hand in your contributions to Andréa at reception by Monday, 11 December.

Forth coming events:

We invite all residents to join us in the Clubhouse to celebrate and welcome in the New Year on Sunday night, 31 December. We are planning to have a lovely party and delicious eats for everyone. Please bring your own refreshments.
Please book and pay for the party with Andréa at reception by no later than Friday, 29 December or call Joan Misplon on Ext 135 for further information. R80 per person
