What’s happening next week 17/04/2017 – 23/04/2017

We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 18th, Hennie Koen (Unit 25); Cedric Reid, (Unit 44).

This Music Evening will take place on Wednesday, 19 April at 19h00. You are welcome to bring your own wine and refreshments on the evening. Please call Herman Poelmann on Ext 115, if you would like to attend, for catering and seating purposes.

Movie Night will take place on Saturday, 22 April at 19h00. For additional information, please contact Elda on Ext 155.

 The Fabulously Flora Competition is taking place and you are invited to get out your cameras and start clicking away, taking pictures of the fabulous show in our gardens. Pictures must be submitted by the 25th of each month to stand a chance to win fame and fortune in our annual competition. Submissions will be posted on our Evergreen Facebook page and he winner will be announced in December. Submit your favourite photograph to Andrea Witte at andreaw at evergreenlifestyle.co.za<mailto:andreaw at evergreenlifestyle.co.za> and it may find itself on the pages of our monthly national Evergreen newsletter. Please note that the image resolution must be a minimum of 300dpi.

There are still tickets available for Funny Girl – The Musical. If you are interested in attending, please contact Andréa at reception on Ext 300.

Forthcoming Events:

  *   The IT Tech Talk will take place on Monday, 24 April at 10h30
  *   South African “Diamonds are Forever’ themed evening dinner will take place on Friday, 28 April at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. Please book with Andréa at reception on Ext 300.

We wish you a Happy Easter (Easter Friday, 14 April and Easter Monday, 17 April). Christine will be on leave over this Easter period from Thursday, 13 April – Wednesday, 19 April. You can still contact her on **002 in the event of an emergency or call Andréa on **022.

Please note that there will be no potluck lunch on Monday, 17 April due to Easter Monday.

And lastly, just a reminder that the alteration of the clubhouse is still taking place and there will be a lot of activity in and around the area. The project will take approximately four/five weeks and we apologise for any inconvenience. We will keep you posted on the progress.
