[Evergreen Muizenberg] AUGUST Bistro Menu and Rates rebate applications

        Dear Resident,

By now all of you would have received your levy statements with the increase in rates as per the letter below.

There are varying percentage increases, generally the apartments less than inflation while the older houses received very large increases.

As per my correspondence of 26 April '23 Evergreen has, via our property valuer consultants, Norman

Griffiths and Associates, objected to the increases on those properties where the valuations are not justifiably based on market related evidence

as assessed by the property valuer.

We encourage all residents who receive an "income" of less than R22 000.00 per month to apply for a rates rebate.

All of you who previously had the rebate need to reapply. The last rebate was valid July 2019 to June 2023.

Forms are available on-line, by email from the office or from reception
Once you have completed the form and attached all supporting documents you can either:

  1.  Deliver to the municipal offices yourself or
  2.  Hand in to the management office and we'll email them through on your behalf.
