We have a few very informative talks, presentations and gatherings coming up.

Friday 15th at 11:30 am - at the Big TV area, "When do you need to appoint a CURATOR", poster attached.

Saturday 16th from 6:00 pm - Your Catering Committee have organised a residents Braai
in the Lifestyle Centre and balcony. Please bring your own meat, salads, any accompaniments, drinks,
cutlery, crockery and glasses. Come and join, please bring R5.00 as a contribution to miscellaneous
expenses.

Monday 18th at 2:30 pm - Our monthly Health talk "Parkinson's Disease: An overview of speech, voice and swallowing"
We are very fortunate for have Alexandra Jensen come talk and give us a presentation. Alexandra is a Speech-language
pathologist who assesses, diagnoses, treats and helps to prevent communication and swallowing disorders.
At the Big TV area, please book your spot through reception, poster attached.

Friday 29th from 12:00 - Noordhoek's 'happening' of the year, the Oktoberfest. Join in the festivities with your fellow
Evergreeners on the lawns of their new lifestyle centre celebrating the occasion. Poster attached.

Events to look out for in November -


  *   The ever popular Boere Dag on Saturday 6 November, music by "Fanie le Roux en sy orkes"
  *   Remembrance Day, 11 November
  *   Inter-village challenge verses Noordhoek, 18 November, various activities and sports.
  *   Cape Point Breweries, 26 November helping us celebrate and remember Men's Health month, Movember.
