[Evergreen Muizenberg]

        Dear Resident,

It is always an unhappy time when we say good-bye, especially to an Evergreen 'family member'.
Elizabeth Ruiters, fondly known as "Ouma", is retiring after 9 years' service at Muizenberg Evergreen.

In my short time here I have grown very fond of Elizabeth, a wonderful lady with a great attitude and
always a smile, nothing sems to get her down !

We will be holding a small farewell for her on Wednesday 11th November at 3 pm.
Please find invitation attached.

Due to the level 1 protocol regulations for older persons' facilities, we are restricting the farewell gathering
to 60 persons.

Please book at reception.

I have had numerous requests from residents to make a contribution to Elizabeth's farewell present.
This will be entirely up to each individual resident and on an anonymous basis. Please do not feel
pressurised to contribute anything. This collection also does not prevent any resident of giving Elizabeth
something personally.

An unmarked wooden box has been placed at reception for any contribution which we will hand over on
Wednesday as a gift at the farewell party.
