        Dear Resident,

As some of you are aware there is an application to develop the open piece of property on the corner of St. Georges Drive and St. Georges Street which also borders our phases 1 and 3. A number of you have even received letters from an environmental consulting company, Sillito in this regard..

The application is for a fuel service station. I have consulted with your residents committee and numerous residents who have homes that border this property. These type of businesses normally operate 24 hours, 365 days a year.

I am sure you will agree with me that this could be very disruptive for you, the residents. We would be unable to control any noise levels which could potentially be at any time of the night. I also believe that this could pose a potential security risk with unsolicited persons alongside our perimeter wall. The potential noise and security risks far out way the convenience of having a fuel station on our 'doorstep'

We will either ask you to write individual letters to Sillito or we will prepare a petition and ask you all to sign. Expect further communication on Monday.

Please join me and the residents committee in objecting to this proposed development.
