[Evergreen Muizenberg]

        Dear Resident,

I have had several inquiries from residents about giving Village staff monetary gifts at this Christmas season, recognising them for service excellence through the year.
These residents feel that they would like to make a contribution to our staff as a gesture of their appreciation for services rendered.

Some time ago, the residents' committee decided there should not be requests to residents for collections of monies, for any reason. It was felt that residents were being put under undue pressure

In response, the residents' committee have decided to provide a facility for them to bless staff with monetary contributions.

A wooden box has been placed at reception to receive these contributions on an anonymous basis. The box will remain at reception until Monday, December 23.

Again, I must stress this is voluntary.

The residents' committee will divide the contributions between all village staff, excluding management.
