Dear Residents

Welcome to spring!

The time of new beginnings, rejuvenation and renewed energy and keeping this in mind we would like to share with you the progress of your Board.

In June this year your new Board was fully constituted, the Board consisting of the following members - Peter Davies, Janice Duff (Chairlady), Jürgen Ertl, Gillian Kerr, Keith Merrington and Robyn Smith.

Since then they have had the mandatory Board meetings plus many over and above requiring Board attendance, two of which were strategy meetings.

The first strategy meeting, phase 1, was held on Monday, 26 August 2019, followed up by a meeting for phase 2 on Tuesday, 1 October 2019.

The outcome of both these meetings was very positive and set the grounds for the way forward.

Portfolios were identified and agreed upon as follows:

Building
Communications 1 - PR - internal (residents) and external
Communications 2 - Correspondence between Board and Residents
Environmental
Financial
Infrastructure
Landscaping
Phase 8
Security

The right fit was looked at, taking account of each Directors strengths and interests and agreeing to the following outcome:

Peter Davies                          -          Security
Janice Duff                            -          Financial
Jürgen Ertl                             -          Environmental
Gillian Kerr                            -          Landscaping
Keith Merrington                 -          Communications 2, Infrastructure
Robyn Smith                         -          Communications 1, Building
ALL                                         -          Phase 8

Communication within the Board was discussed, agreed upon and put in place.  The question was then the communication between Directors and members of the LMHOA and it was agreed that the official communication channels would not be compromised and continue as is, however, the Directors welcome informal interaction with the residents.

We look forward to the future and being of service to our members.
