[Evergreen Diep River]

        Dear Resident,

Please find attached communication and an update from Evergreen Health (EH) on the progress of obtaining a Home Care Practice Number. From our previous circulars, you may be aware that the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) is the representative organisation which medical aid schemes may voluntarily belong to. BHF has an embargo and will not issue Home Care Practice numbers. Evergreen Health (EH) indicated that they had been in discussion with the main medical aid administrators and had successfully negotiated to be on the Discovery Health funder's vendor list. Discovery Health is in the process of an accreditation process. Should this be successful, EH will be able to provide Health Care services to all residents who are members of Discovery Medical Aid.

EH is also in discussion with both Momentum Health and Metropolitan Health and will keep everyone updated on progress.  See further details in the circular attached.
