[Evergreen Broadacres]

Dear Residents

We have new residents moving into their new apartment tomorrow.  They were originally going to move in at the end of March, prior to Level 5 lockdown and got delayed due to lock down restrictions.  Now that restrictions have been lifted and moving is allowed until the 7th of June 2020 they are finally
Able to make their move a reality.

We would like to welcome Alain and Jilly Croisier who will be moving into Apartment 107 on Thursday morning. Once they have moved in, they will self-isolate in their new home for 14 days.

We have set out the protocols for moving and occupation during lockdown.

Protocol for New Residents Moving in to Evergreen Village during COVID-19 Lockdown


-                        Handover and Occupation must be done on the same day.

-                        New Resident/s must ensure they undergo a COVID-19 test either independently or via Evergreen Health on the day of moving in to the village.

-                        Once resident moves in to the village, they need to self-isolate within their homes for 14 days with no contact made with village staff and fellow residents, regardless of the test status.

-                        Only upon the completion of the 14-day self-isolation may the resident leave their home and partake in walking around the village and following the masking and sanitizing protocol

-                        New residents to adhere to wearing masks as per government regulations once 14 days are over and any other village specific protocols regarding personal movement.

Removal Companies / Curtain and Blind Companies / Service Providers


-                        All staff members entering the village will need to adhere to the strict sanitizing protocols at all times

-                        Upon entry all staff will need to be temperature tested, hands sanitized and issued with a standard mask, if the removal company has not provided personal protective gear as required.

-                        Removal staff are strictly instructed to only work within the confines of the residents homes and may not loiter anywhere else in the village.

-                        A safe distance of 2 meters should be kept between residents and removal staff .

-                        Preferably only one resident should direct removal staff as to where furniture must go ,while the other party waits outside.

-                        Once the furniture is in the unit, the staff and vehicles are required to leave the village immediately

-                        It is recommended that residents wear gloves and sanitize door handles and surfaces which were touched during process as well as furniture which has been dropped  off ,as far as possible; and open all windows for fresh air to circulate.


We would like to welcome the Croisier's to their new home even thought we are not allowed to visit or socialize with them for 14 days, we look forward to get to know this lovely couple better.
