[Evergreen Broadacres] Confirmed case of COVID19 in Celebrations Retirement Village

[Evergreen Broadacres]

        Dear All,

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Celebrations Retirement Village 12 Km away from us has had their first confirmed COVID19 infection in their village.
This person has been in contact with 23 other villagers and they are all now under quarantine as they try to establish who these 23 villagers have been in contact with.

Celebrations who did not impose strict measures like Evergreen has, allowed their villagers to go for walks and allowed residents out of the Village.
I have attached an internal communication letter that was send out by them yesterday after this case was confirmed in an attempt to now impose stricter rules in their Village.

Our thoughts and prayers are with these residents and their Frail Care staff who are now in the face of the Virus and fighting for people's lives.
While this is a very sad situation we must learn from this as it shows that isolation and the strict rules we are enforcing in our village has kept us from being in a similar position.

We must fight to keep this Virus out of our Village.
