Dear Valued Tenants,

Please be advised that the precinct’s electrical service provider will be conducting relay replacements and switchgear repairs as per the revised schedule below:

Friday, 27 March 2026
21h00 – 04h00
Kindly note that this work has been rescheduled from the previously communicated dates.

Affected Substations:

  *   Sub B1 (10 Melrose)
  *   Sub B2 (STANLIB Building)
  *   Sub B3 (3 Melrose Boulevard)
  *   Sub B4 (1 Melrose Boulevard)
  *   Sub C1 (African Pride)
  *   Sub C2 (Mezzanine)
  *   Sub C3 (Building E2)
Relay Replacement Schedule:

  *   21h00 – 22h00: Switch No. 3 – Sub B1 Feeder
  *   22h00 – 23h00: Switch No. 4 – Sub B4 Feeder
  *   23h00 – 00h00: Switch No. 5 – Sub C3 Feeder
  *   00h00 – 02h00: Switch No. 6 – Sub C1 Feeder
Switchgear Repairs:

  *   01h00 – 02h00: Sub C1 (African Pride) – Motor Ratchet
  *   02h00 – 03h00: Piazza Substation – Replace Buchholz Relay
  *   03h00 – 04h00: Consumer Substation – Replace Limit Switch
Important Notes:

  *   All generators will be operational during the maintenance period
  *   All electrical equipment, plug points, and switches must be treated as live at all times
  *   Please ensure:
     *   All data is backed up
     *   Servers are safely shut down or placed in safe mode
     *   UPS systems and backup power sources are fully functional
Upcoming Maintenance:
Kindly remember that planned maintenance on LV Substation Breakers is scheduled from:
Monday, 23 March to 30 March 2026
