*Cydna Substation*

Due to the complexity of repairs to be conducted following yesterday's fire at the substation, the teams have revised the estimated time of restoration, which will be communicated in subsequent reports.

The outage is affecting customers in Elton Hill, Melrose, Birdhaven, Waverly, Highlands North,  Bramley, Illovo, Houghton,  Killarney, Riviera Atholl, Inanda, Hyde Park, Abbotsford, Winston Ridge, and possible surroundings.

Developments will be communicated as work progresses.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.

*Note: To avoid the risk of potential damage or inrush current incidents during the restoration process, customers are requested to unplug all electrical appliances during outages*^LT
