Sunset and Christmas Lights Tour Illuminates Johannesburg This Festive Season

City Sightseeing Johannesburg invites you to hop on board for a magical Sunset and Christmas Lights Tour this festive season.

The experience begins with a golden-hour photo stop at Munro Drive, where guests can watch the sun dip below Johannesburg’s skyline while savouring a complimentary snack pack.

The tour then glides into the vibrant Melrose Arch Precinct to wander under dazzling lights, the perfect spot for shopping, dining, and festive outdoor fun.

“Our city shines at sunset and sparkles at night,” said Glynn Soule the GM at City Sightseeing Johannesburg.

“This tour blends breathtaking views with the buzz of Melrose Arch, making it an effortless, joy-filled night out for families, friends, and visitors.”

Running from 13 December to 27 December 2025, departures leave from stop 1 at Rosebank at 17h30, with an approximate duration of 3.5 hours.

Guests can expect a relaxed, hosted experience with a dedicated photo stop at Munro Drive and ample time to explore Melrose Arch’s festive displays, restaurants, and retail.
