Dear Tenant,
Melrose Arch ultimate rugby viewing experience is BACK!
We will be hosting a fan park on the Piazza and screening on the Square on Saturday, 23 August, 2025.
The fan park forms part of our broader strategy to:

  *   Increase foot traffic across the precinct
  *   Extend dwell time for both existing and new visitors
  *   Reinforce Melrose Arch's position as Johannesburg's leading lifestyle Destination
Event Details
Screening Locations: Melrose Arch Piazza & The Square
Date: Saturday, 23 August 2025
Fan Park on the Piazza Only
Unreserved seating for 240 pax
Open from 4PM
Match Kick-off: 17:10PM
Square restaurants can spill out on the Square for additional capacity, as the match will be screened on the Square LED screen.
Additional seating in the form of high long rectangular cocktail tables and chairs to accommodate 240pax will be set up on the Piazza and each restaurant will be allocated addition tables.
Tenants are welcome to come up with specials for the day or grab & go menus and promote these on social media.
Operational Guidelines & Expectations
Piazza Restaurants:

  *   Each tenant will be allocated a dedicated seating area
  *   Restaurants will be permitted to trade from these areas during the event.
  *   Additional staffing is recommended to manage demand and maintain exceptional services and experience

Square Restaurants:

  *   Square restaurants may extend their operations into The Square for the duration of the screening and trade from there.
Fan Park: Rules

  *   No glass bottles are permitted - all beverages (beers, wines, ciders) must be decanted into drinking glasses
  *   No smoking or vaping is allowed in the Piazza or The Square.
