Road closure
Attention:

  *   Marriot Hotel,
  *   One on Whiteley residents
  *   Daytona
  *   Fire and Ice Hotel
  *   MMI
  *   Grind
Whiteley road from the entrance gate to Rolls Royse (Daytona side only)
Please be advised that Daytona Direct will be hosting a breakfast run from their showroom, this Sunday. To accommodate the event, we require street-level parking for 70 cars. The following arrangements will be in place:

Road Closure Details


  *    Whiteley Gate entrance will be closed from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
  *    Inbound lane on Whiteley Road (entrance side, closest to Daytona) will be closed from the Whiteley Gate to the end of Rolls Royce.
  *    The outbound lane will remain open to facilitate traffic flow.


Impact on Surrounding Businesses

  *   Guests of Marriott and One on Whiteley will be redirected to the Corlett Gate entrance due to the closure of Whiteley gate entrance.
  *   Drop-offs for Fire and Ice and The Red Bus Sightseeing will continue, albeit with limited road access.
Event Timeline

  *   Daytona Direct showroom opening: 10:00.
  *   Guest arrival: 10:30.
  *   Guest departure: 11:30.
  *   No cars will return after departing the precinct.

During this time the Inbound Lane on Whiteley Road will be closed.

Traffic will be redirected to alternative entrances i.e.: Melrose Boulevard entrance, Corlett entrance or Parking 4 entrance,
Security will be in place to assist vehicular movement,
Vehicles will only be allowed to travel in a westerly direction from High to Athol Oaklands as vehicles will only be allowed to exit at the Whiteley Gate,
Pedestrian access will remain open.

This will have an impact on:

  *   Daytona
  *   One on Whiteley residents
  *   Marriott Hotel
  *   Fire and Ice Hotel
  *   MMI
  *   Grind and Arch Cycle's customers
  *   The Red Bus
