Dear Residents,

Please see the reminder outlining the emergency assistance protocols for the village.

I encourage you not to delay contacting the appropriate emergency services by assuming that assistance can be provided on site. The Care Centre staff are not emergency responders, and the role of the village's trained First Aiders is to provide immediate assistance to help stabilise a person until the emergency services arrive. They are not trained or authorised to provide medical care beyond the scope of first aid.

Your prompt action in requesting the appropriate emergency services through your Telecare system can make a significant difference in an emergency.
