[Evergreen Muizenberg] Notice - Common Gardens

Dear Residents,
We hope you're all keeping well and enjoying the spring weather.
As many of you will have noticed, we've been working on improving our beautiful village gardens and open spaces. Over time, some of the roadside garden beds and trees have become a little overgrown or lost their shape, which has affected the overall look and feel of our village. We really appreciate the care and pride many of you take in your own gardens - and even in some of the common areas. It's lovely to see! However, we do need to gently remind everyone that there's an important distinction between private gardens, where personal touches and creativity are most welcome, and common areas, where we aim for a consistent and tidy appearance.
To help keep the village looking its best, we kindly ask that:

  *   Excessive pots that differ from the village standard,
  *   Invasive or non-native plants, and
  *   Artificial decorations in common areas
be removed or moved to your private garden spaces. This helps us keep a uniform look that everyone can enjoy.
If you're someone who enjoys gardening and would like to get involved with looking after the common areas, we'd love to hear from you - as we already have a number of residents doing a fantastic job with this!
Just a quick reminder of what the village rules say about shared spaces:
Use of Village and Common Property

  *   Please don't place signs, notices, or decorations in common areas without written approval from Village Management.
  *   No planting, moving, or removing of plants or trees in the common areas without prior consent.
  *   Rubble or garden waste should only be disposed of in the designated bins or areas.
  *   Common property may not be marked, changed, or altered in any way.
