[Evergreen Muizenberg]

        Dear Residents

Thank you to everyone who attended the Women's Day special Breakfast morning in the Bistro on Friday, 9th August. There seems to have been some confusion around the event and I needed to apologise to all of the lovely ladies that came through in the morning.

We arranged with Servest to have a breakfast special added to the Deli menu and served at your leisure between 09h00 - 10h30. The response was wonderful and it turned out to be a whopping affair! The kitchen was overwhelmed and a little under-prepared with all the orders coming in all at once. Although the service was a slow we managed to push out 88+ plates of fried eggs and bacon, scrambled eggs on croissants, pancakes and flapjacks with whipped cream.

I apologies for the breakdown in communication and we promise to do better at our next themed function, the Mad Hatters Spring Breakfast Party, to be held on Wednesday, 2 October at 09h00. Prizes to be won for Best Hat, Best Dressed and Most Fun.
