Dear Resident,

By now most of you would have received the second injection of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine. A fantastic achievement for Evergreen. WE must extend a huge THANKS to Evergreen Health for this, what an amazing slick professional experience. Our healthcare ladies swiftly administered the Vaccines yesterday!! Let's not forget our admin personnel who have gone over the same questions time and time again, and to our village staff who set-up, organized and coordinated the roll-out. WELL DONE!!!

Some of you might be feeling some discomfort around the injection area, headaches, even a fever, let's say typical flu-like symptoms. This should not last more than 48 hours. If this persists please contact us so that we can help you.

It typically takes two weeks after vaccination for the body to build protection (immunity) against the virus. That means it is still possible for a person to get Covid-19 before or just after vaccination and then get sick because the vaccine did not have enough time to build protection.

So in simple terms, please continue to observe all the safety protocols.

Remember for those residents who were unable to have the second injection for whatever reason, you are going to get a further opportunity around the last week in July to get the second one. Further communication will follow.
