Bergvliet Bistro – Our Lunch offering includes a special of the day, a selection of breakfast, toasted sandwiches, cake plus hot and cold beverages. Please be sure to give us a heads up by 4pm the day before if you would like to order the Daily Special in the bistro. Please note that no Cash Payments will be accepted. Please pay on account, pre-paid credit or debit card.

Special of the Day - Kindly book your Lunch by 16h30 for the following day. Please contact the Bistro on Ext 200 or Reception on Ext 300.
MONDAY 25 January                    Curried Mince served in a homemade Roti with Raita and a Green Salad
TUESDAY 26 January                   Sticky Soy & Honey Chicken served with Asian Noodles and a garden salad
WEDNESDAY 27 January             Liver, Bacon & Caramelised Onion served on creamy mash potatoes with roast vegetables
THURSDAY 28 January                Melanzane Parmigiana (baked tomato, aubergine and mozzarella garnished with parmesan-style cheese) & Italian Salad
FRIDAY 29 January                       Deep Fried Calamari & Chips / Rice served with Salad of the day

In the light of the current regulations, we are cancelling all social activities in the clubhouse until further notice to ensure we keep in regulations and do not put any residents at risks.

  *   Library – Please ensure that should you return a book that you place it on the table clearly marked. We sanitise all books prior to putting them back on the shelf. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Resurgence of COVID-19
We would again like to reiterate to all residents to please alert the Village Manager as soon as you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, such as a sore throat; a fever or increased temperature; a dry cough; body aches; or shortness of breath; loss of taste and/or smell. If you suspect that you have coronavirus symptoms, please call the clinic or reception for assistance – please DO NOT come to the clubhouse. It is vital that you report to Village Management as soon as you are not feeling well and that you isolate and do not socialise with other residents.

Furthermore, should you or any of your family go for a Covid-19 test, we request that you inform us immediately. Please do not let them visit you until they receive a negative result and we have been informed.  You are our main concern and your health and safety is very important to us – we are ready to assist in any way we can
