Bergvliet Bistro – Our Lunch offering includes a special of the day, a selection of breakfast, toasted sandwiches, cake plus hot and cold beverages. Please be sure to give us a heads up by 4pm the day before if you would like to order the Daily Special in the bistro. Please note that no Cash Payments will be accepted. Please pay on account, pre-paid credit or debit card.

Special of the Day - Kindly book your Lunch by 16h30 for the following day. Please contact the Bistro on Ext 200 or Reception on Ext 300.
MONDAY 8th February                      Niçoise Salad Served with Tuna, Boiled Eggs, Green Beans, Tomatoes & Traditional Dressing
TUESDAY 9th February                     Pork Bangers & Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Brown Onion Gravy with Peas and Carrots
WEDNESDAY 10th February            Sticky BBQ Chicken Thighs served with Sticky Rice and Green Salad
THURSDAY 11th February                Spaghetti & Homemade Meatballs Served in a Classic Neapolitan Sauce served with an Italian Salad
FRIDAY 12th February                       Deep Fried Calamari Strips served with Savoury Rice or Chips and Chefs Salad

Coming up this week: PLEASE ABIDE BY COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS/ NO MASK NO ENTRY

In the light of the current regulations, we are cancelling all social activities in the clubhouse until further notice to ensure we keep in regulations and do not put any residents at risks.

  *   Library – Please ensure that should you return a book that you place it on the table clearly marked. We sanitise all books prior to putting them back on the shelf. Your cooperation is appreciated.

If you wish to get the Covid-19 vaccine then please add your name to the list at the clinic as soon as possible to ensure that we have sufficient vaccines for everyone in the village. We are also ordering the Flu vaccine and the Pneumonia vaccine, please indicate on the list if you wish to have these administered as well. This is a very important step for South Africa. It must be noted however, that all residents should still adhere to social distancing and health protocols at all times. We must not become complacent.
