Coming up this week:

  *   Regular Art Classes offered by Anastasia will be held in the Bistro every Monday at 2:30pm. Residents can reap great benefits from art including improvement of cognition, sensory stimulation and sharpening memory. If you are interested, please contact Anastasia on 072 766 9573.

  *   Ageless Grace class will take place every Thursday morning at 10am in the Games Room. R 40pp per class. If you are interested, please contact Pat on 083 366 2790. The Ageless Grace exercises focus on the healthy longevity of the body, mind, emotion and spirit. All exercises are practiced sitting in a chair and are movements that are natural and organic.

  *   Our first Canasta club meeting, hosted by Jacky Orton, will be held in the Clubhouse on Monday, 27 January at 3pm to plan the group’s meetings in the future. Canasta is the most traditional and loved card game by all. It is an exciting mix of strategy, luck and skill. Please book with reception on Ext 300 for seating purposes. For additional information, please contact Jacky Orton on Ext 131.

  *   We are hosting a very special Movie Night on Saturday which will be in line with our “Out of Africa” theme for February.

       Movie Night - 1 February at 7pm – Out of Africa. Please book with Paddy Fordyce on Ext 152 for seating purposes.

  *   20-time Grand Slam Champion Roger Federer will play his first-ever match in Sub-Saharan Africa in Cape Town on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 8 p.m. Federer's opponent will be 18-time Grand Slam Champion and rival Rafael Nadal. The match will be played to support children's education in Africa. Watch this exciting live match in the Clubhouse on Friday, 7 February at 8pm

  *   Village Bring & Braai – Sunday, 9 February at 12h30 – Please join us for lunchtime Bring & Braai at the clubhouse - bring and braai your own meat and drinks. The committee will provide salads, rolls and dessert. R50pp. Please book and pay with reception by Thursday, 6 February.

  *   Evergreen Sundowner Evening will be held on Wednesday, 12 February at 5:30pm in the Clubhouse. Live entertainment, Oldies but Goldies - a trip down memory lane by James and Monique. Drinks & snacks will be served. No charge. Please book with reception on Ext 300 by no later than Monday, 7 February for catering purposes. We look forward to seeing you there!

  *   Bingo night on Friday, 14 February in the clubhouse at 6pm. Join us for a fun-filled evening. R60pp. Please book with reception on Ext 300 for catering purposes as a light meal will be served.
