[Evergreen Bergvliet] ELV BGV>Irrigation Proposal Reminder - 21/11/2019

As you know a meeting was held on Monday, 11 November for residents to consider an irrigation proposal by ResCom. They motivated a request to Evergreen to bring a direct connection (tap), via a controlled valve offtake from the irrigation system to each house. This will be used by the resident to plug into their private irrigation system to water their lawns, gardens and to fill jojo tanks, (in lieu of getting the gardeners to fill) in the dry season. The cost per unit will depend on the uptake and the final quotation from the irrigation specialist, Peter Sweetman, Auto Irrigation. It is envisaged that this can be installed in section/phases of between 5-8 houses at a time.

The interest in receiving borehole water was excellent and a large number of the residents in the village have already indicated that they wish to proceed and have signed up their interest . The balance of units required more information but expressed their willingness to participate. If you did not attend the meeting or if you require additional information, please call Ext 105 (Ton Weber) or Ext 131 (Dave Orton) - the Rescom members who are piloting this project with Patrick Maile.  They are more than happy to help and explain the offer.

Please let us know in writing by no later than close of business on Thursday, 21 November so that Rescom can let you have final details when they report back at the Residents meeting to be held on Monday, 25 November at 3pm.
