Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 23 April will start at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving chicken schnitzel served with mushroom sauce on tagliatelle OR Beef lasagne served with garlic bread and salad. This will be followed with Chocolate mousse and cream. R140pp. As its Easter Monday, please call Yolanda Bond-Smith on Ext 146 to put your names down for dinner by lunch time on Monday, 22 April. Payment can be made with reception on Tuesday morning.  You are very welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Residents are enjoying the special lunches, delicious breakfasts, light meals and toasties every day and they have arranged prepaid accounts and credit card facilities for payment at the Bergvliet Coffee Shop for your convenience.

-       Easter Sunday Roast Lunch on 21 April at 12.30pm  Easter Sunday Lunch will be served in the Bistro. Please book with Yvonne Whitford (Ext 114).

-       Balance & Tone class on Thursday, 25 April at 10am

-       Pub Night on Friday, 26 April at 6pm

-       Men’s Breakfast on Thursday, 2 May

-       Bingo Evening on Friday, 3 May at 6pm

-       Movie Night on Saturday, 4 May  at 7pm – Eat, Pray, Love

Village Housekeeping items:

-       Blackland External painting – There has been a slight delay with the painting contract and the painting team will complete Units 18-35 next week and start on Units 36-41 and 58/59 on Tuesday 23, April. Our Evergreen village team will be able to assist you with whatever you need. Please call me if you need help, have any queries or require any additional information at this stage.

-       Blackland Snags – There is another Blackland team that will be joining us to attend to the snags and to finish off painting the darker bands around the windows so that the finished work, looks similar to that of the new houses in Phase 4. Please note, that in order for them to meet their deadline we have agreed to them working in the Village on Saturdays between 9am-3pm. No noisy work will take place.

-       Excavation of entrance to apartment garage - The construction team will continue to work on the excavation of the entrance to the garage between units 47/48.

-       The Pool Heat Pump is not working and the pool is not warm. We have discovered a problem with the power supply in the area and are in the process of repairing the cable.

We wish the Stormers well on Saturday and I will be here to cheer them on! Go Stormers Go!
