Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 04 December will start at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving Fillet Kebabs with baked potatoes and sour cream served with seasonal vegetables OR Chicken and Mushroom lasagna served with a salad and dressing. This will be followed by Baked Cheesecake and tea/coffee. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300 by no later than Monday, 03 December.

The Year End Christmas Dinner will be held on Friday, 7 December and will start at 6:30pm for 7:00pm. Cost: R185.00 per person. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300 by no later than 12-noon on Monday, 3 December. Please bring a wrapped gift to the value of R50 for either a man or woman as a secret Santa gift.

There will be a launch of the new travel tour brochure presented by FCT Senior travel on Wednesday, 5 December at 10am in the Clubhouse. For seating and catering purposes please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book.

Don’t forget to buy your raffle ticket for the delicious Christmas Cake. R50 per ticket at reception. The draw will take place at the Year End Christmas Dinner on Friday, 7 December.

A gentle reminder to please hand in your staff Christmas contribution envelope to Andréa at reception who will collect it on behalf of Mancom, by no later than close of business on Monday, 10 December for distribution to village staff on Thursday, 13 December.

We are doing a special Christmas gift drive for our designated village charity, HOPE HOUSE who offer counselling, addictions support and training to people of all races, religions and cultures who seek care and counselling at their care centres in Bergvliet, Tableview and Kuilsrivier. We appeal to all residents to buy a small toy for a child between the ages of 0-12 years. Please place your gift in the box provided at reception and be sure to identify the present with a small label, including information on whether it’s for a boy/girl and age. This will make it easier for distribution by “Santa” to the children. We will be handing these gifts over to Hope House via Veronica Lamson (Unit 57) by no later than Friday, 14 December.

  *   Carols by candlelight will take place on Friday, 21 December at 6pm. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book.

  *   New Years Eve party will take place on 31 December, cost: R80 per person
