What’s happening next week: 19/11/2018 – 25/11/2018

Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 20 November will start at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving Chicken with olives, lemon & rosemary served with risoni rice OR Babotie with yellow rice and raisins served with sambals followed by Sweet melon and vanilla ice-cream with port and tea/coffee. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300 by no later than Monday, 19 November.

There is still time to book for Sunday lunch taking place this Sunday, 18 November at 12:30pm. Cost: R165 per person. Sardine & Mushroom blinis will be served as a starter, followed by Lamb Kebabs on a bed of savoury rice served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and salad. This will be followed by Fruit salad and ice-cream. Please call Yvonne Whitford on Ext 114 to book.

Classical Music Evening will take place on Wednesday, 21 November at 7pm. Maurice Ravels piano concert in G major, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome followed by Beethoven – Symphony no. 3 in E flat major, ‘Eroica’ West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. Light snacks will be provided. Bring your own wine/refreshments. For more information, contact Herman Poelmann on Ext 115.

Ladies Brunch will take place on Thursday, 29 November at 10h00. Cost: R100 per person. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book

Bollywood Theme dinner will take place on Friday, 23rd November. Vegetable samosas with a sweet chilli dipping sauce will be served as a starter, followed by Butter Chicken OR Masala Fish both served with savoury rice, creamed spinach and sweet ginger carrots followed by honey and nut ice-cream with rose water syrup. Cost is R165 per person. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book by Tuesday, 20 November.

Don’t forget to buy your raffle ticket for the delicious Christmas Cake. R50 per ticket at reception. The draw will take place on Friday, 7 December.

 A few delays meant that the redbrick” vibracrete wall was not removed this week. We have been told it will come down on Monday.  Just a gentle reminder that it is still a building site and there are health and safety rules and regulations in place. Once the contractors are off-site at the end of November and phase 4 has been handed back to us, we will arrange a walk-about for residents. Please be patient and we apologise for any inconvenience.
