What’s happening next week: 30/07/2018 – 05/08/2018

We would like to wish the following residents a very Happy Birthday next week: 3rd August – David Walker; and 8th August - Trula Human.

Our Social Dinner to be held on Tuesday, 31 July will be held at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Fish Cakes with Mashed Potatoes  OR Beef and Potato Curry served with rice & sambals followed by Malva Pudding and custard. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300. Booking and payment is required by no later than 12pm on Monday, 30 July. Unfortunately, NO late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

Men’s Breakfast will be held on Thursday, 2 August 2018 at 9am. Please make every effort to attend. Book with reception or call Ext 300. Price R65pp. All Welcome. For additional information, please call                Ton Weber on Ext 105.

Our regular Movie Night will be held on Saturday, 4 August at 7:00pm and we will be screening,  FIDDLER ON THE ROOF – In pre-revolutionary Russia, a Jewish peasant contends with marrying off his five daughters while growing anti-Semitic sentiment threatens his village. The poor milkman, consults the traditional matchmaker - and also has a word with God. An Oscar-winning adaptation of the Broadway musical about life among the Jewish community of a pre-revolutionary Russian village.  You are welcome to bring your own refreshments. Please contact Paddy Fordyce on Ext 152 for any additional information. Our movie nights will be screened on the first Saturday of the every month.

Forthcoming Events:

-       Our popular quiz night will take place on Thursday, 9 August at 6pm for a light meal, followed by a fun filled evening.  Book at reception or call Ext 300 for catering and seating purposes.  Price R60pp. All Welcome. For additional information, please call our quiz master, Paddy Fordyce on Ext 152.

-       Sunday Roast will take place on 19th August at 12:30pm. Please book and pay for lunch at reception on Ext 300.  R165.00 pp. For additional information, please call Yvonne Whitford (Ext 114).

-       Annual General Meeting  will be held on Thursday, 30 August at 2pm.
