We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 13th December - Mike Uys (Unit 08); 15th December - Michelle Samson (Unit 26)

Please note that we will not have a social dinner on Tuesday, 11 December as we are having our end of year Christmas Dinner on Wednesday, 12 December.

PUB NIGHT will take place on Friday, 14 Deember at 6pm. Booklets are available to purchase from Andréa at reception at R100 per booklet as no cash will be taken on the night. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book.

Forthcoming events:

  *   Carols by candlelight will take place on Friday, 21 December at 6pm. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book.

  *   The village New Year’s Eve party will take place on 31 December, cost: R80 per person.

We are doing a special Christmas gift drive for our designated village charity, HOPE HOUSE. We appeal to all residents to buy a small toy for a child between the ages of 0-12 years. Please place your gift in the box provided at reception and be sure to identify the present with a small label, including information on whether it’s for a boy/girl and age. This will make it easier for distribution by “Santa” to the children. We will be handing these gifts over to Hope House via Veronica Lamson (Unit 57) by no later than Friday, 14 December.

  *   Please remember to advise reception if you will be away this festive season so that we in turn can advise Telecare.
  *   A gentle reminder to please hand in your staff Christmas contribution envelope to Andréa at reception who will collect it on behalf of Mancom, by no later than close of business on Monday, 10 December for distribution to village staff on Thursday, 13 December.
  *   Please note that the Evergreen staff will be having their own staff party on Friday, 14 December and will all be leaving the village at 12h30. Andréa will be on duty for the afternoon.
