What’s happening next week: 03/09/2018 – 09/09/2018

We would like to wish the following residents a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 4th, Christina Walters (unit 65); 6th, Trevor Earl (unit 25) & 7th, Karen Visser (unit 44).

Our Social Dinner to be held on Tuesday, 4 September will be held at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving Chicken Breasts with a bacon & onion stuffing with a marsala sauce & savoury rice OR Traditional Fish & Chips, tartare sauce & fresh lemon
followed by crêpes with caramelized apples served with cinnamon ice-cream. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300. Booking and payment is required by no later than 12pm on Monday, 3 September. Unfortunately, NO late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

Movie Night will take place tomorrow, Saturday, 1 September at 7pm. “The Hundred-Foot Journey” – Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is a culinary ingénue with the gastronomic equivalent of perfect pitch. Displaced from their native India, the Kadam family, led by Papa (Omp Puri), settles in the quaint village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val in the south of France. Filled with charm, it is both picturesque and elegant, the ideal place to settle down and open an Indian restaurant, the Maison Mumbai. That is, until the chilly chef proprietress of Le Saule Pleureur, a Michelin starred, classical French restaurant run by Madame Mallory (Academy Award winner Helen Mirren), gets wind of it. Please contact Paddy Fordyce for any additional information and to confirm your attendance.

The Ladies Brunch is set to take place on Thursday, 6 September at 11am. R80 per person. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book.

The Flower Art Demonstration by Jacky Orton will take place on Wednesday, 5 September at 2pm. A tea will follow thereafter. For seating and catering purposes, please call Andréa on Ext 300 to book.
