[Evergreen Bergvliet] ELV BGV>Village Fire Drill - Monday, 27 August at 11am

        Dear Resident

Please note that we will be staging a Village fire drill on Monday, 27 August at 11am.

If you are present, we kindly request that you participate in the fire drill so that you become familiar with our new emergency evacuation procedures, as per our circular #25 dated 2 August. The circular also identifies the sections/zones pertaining to your unit.

What to do:

-       When you hear the fire alarm/air horn, please make your way towards the identified section muster points and ensure that the resident marshal (wearing an reflective safety vest) has made a note that you are present.

-       We do not expect you to leave your unit if you are sick or ill, however the fire marshals/ village staff or security guards will be around to check on your whereabouts and we would like you to engage with them.

-       As in any emergency, any staff on duty in your unit or visitors must accompany you to the assembly points and be accounted for.

-       No cars or visitors will be allowed access to the village or will be able to exit the village during the fire drill.

-       A review will take place in the clubhouse directly afterwards and we invite you to join us if there are any comment/observations you would like to share.
