We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 27th  -Willy Poelmann (Unit 15); 28th - Jenny Barclay (Unit 65) & 29th - Toetie van Reenen (Unit 04).

Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 24 April is at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Peanut & Ginger Chicken OR crumbed Pork Sirloin served with apple sauce & gravy both served with sauté potatoes & seasonal vegetables. This will be followed by Bread and Butter pudding and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300. Booking and payment is required by no later than 12pm on Monday, 23rd April. Unfortunately, no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

Movie Night will take place tomorrow Saturday, 21 April at 7pm. The Greatest Showman - Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, it is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business. It tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. Starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Michelle Williams.…..Please call Paddy Fordyce on Ext 152 for any additional information.

Ted-Talk coffee break will take place on Monday, 23 April at 10h30. Preparing for Alzheimers - Alzheimer's doesn't have to be your brain's destiny, says neuroscientist and author of "Still Alice," Lisa Genova. She shares the latest science investigating the disease -- and some promising research on what each of us can do to build an Alzheimer's-resistant brain. Please contact Andréa on Ext 300 and confirm your attendance for seating purposes.

Please note that Yvonne Whitford will be cooking for the Tuesday social dinner on 1 May, which is a public holiday. A choice of mild Beef curry and rice with sambals OR Chicken Pie served with baby potatoes and seasonal vegetables. This will be followed by Malva pudding & custard and coffee/tea. Price R125 pp. Due to the public holidays, we kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300 by Thursday 26 April. Last minute bookings and final payment is required by no later than 12pm on Monday, 30th April.
