What’s happening next week: 09/04/2018 – 15/04/2018

Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 10 April is at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Braised Steak with onion gravy with mash & seasonal vegetables OR Smoky Fish pie with a potato rosti topping & seasonal vegetables. This will be followed by Old cape brandy tart served with vanilla ice-cream and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book at reception or call Ext 300. Booking and payment is required by no later than 12pm on Monday, 9th March. Unfortunately, no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

Our Sunday Roast Lunch will take place on Sunday, 15 April; at 12h30. Snoek Roulade will be served as a starter, roast leg of lamb and roast pork served with roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables followed by chocolate mousse & raspberries. Cost: R165 per person. Please book with Andréa by Thursday, 12 April.

Forth coming events:

  *   Movie Night will take place on Saturday, 21 April at 7pm. The Greatest Showman - Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, it is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business. It tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. Starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Michelle Williams.…..Please call Paddy Fordyce on Ext 152 for any additional information.

  *   Ted-Talk coffee break will take place on Monday, 23 April at 10h30. Preparing for Alzheimers - Alzheimer's doesn't have to be your brain's destiny, says neuroscientist and author of "Still Alice," Lisa Genova. She shares the latest science investigating the disease -- and some promising research on what each of us can do to build an Alzheimer's-resistant brain. Please contact Andréa on Ext 300 and confirm your attendance for seating purposes.

Please note that the kitchen will be closed for painting on Monday, 9 April and therefore no lunch will be served in the Bistro.  Meals in the Bistro will resume on Tuesday evening and for breakfast and lunch on Wednesday morning.
