We would like to wish the following residents a very Happy Birthday: 9th – Amanda Bester (Unit 34); 13th – David Gretton (Unit 03)

Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 10th October is at 7pm for 7:30pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Chicken Breast with a spinach & feta stuffing served with savoury rice OR Mince Curry with basmati rice with roti & sambals, sauté cabbage & cinnamon carrots. This will be followed by Milk tart with a fig coulis & cream & Coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book with Andréa on Ext 300 and pay by no later than 12pm on Monday, 9th October. No late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.

Ladies, join us for a morning of pampering in the clubhouse on Wednesday, 11 October from 09h00 – 12h00. FREE facials will be offered as well as mini manicures & pedicures. You have to book your appointment prior to the morning. Please call Andréa on Ext 300. Tea/Coffee and Sandwiches will be provided but we kindly request that you bring a plate of finger snacks/cakes to share and enjoy with your refreshments.

The Sunday Lunch will take place on Sunday, 15 October at 12h30. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 if you wish to attend

Our day trip to Babylonstoren is scheduled for Thursday, 26th October and we have been amazed at the response by residents of our other villages. We already have a large group going from Muizenberg, Diep River and Lake Michelle and we kindly request that if you have not yet booked your place, that you do so before our extended deadline on Wednesday,11th October. Please call Andréa on Ext 300 should you wish to join our group. The bus will collect/ drop you off in the village. Please note that payment of R180.00 secures your booking which includes return bus transport and one entry ticket. It does not include any meals or refreshments. Remember to come prepared - wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat in summer and wellies plus an umbrella in winter and put on some sunscreen.

Forth coming events:

  *   Music night will take place on Wednesday, 18 October at 7pm. An evening with André Rieu performing at the Vrijthof Maastricht Summer 2016 in “Falling in love.” You are welcome to bring your own wine and refreshments on the evening. It is a well-supported night and we encourage you to call Herman Poelmann on Ext 115, if you would like to attend, for catering (salty snacks) and seating purposes.
  *   Movie night will take place on Saturday, 21 October at 7pm. Contact Elda on Ext 155 if you wish to attend.
  *   Our Halloween themed dinner is set to take place on Friday, 27 October. Contact Andréa on Ext 300 to book.
