We would like to wish Mark Dry (Unit 63) a Happy Birthday for 31st May.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 23 May at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Cottage pie & onion gravy OR Hake & haddock pie topped with creamy mashed potato served with seasonal veg. This will be followed by Muscadel poached pears with vanilla ice-cream and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 22 May 2017. Unfortunately, no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay and sign for your meal by Tuesday morning.

Movie night will take place on Saturday, 20 May at 19h00.. Remember - With the aid of a fellow Auschwitz survivor and a hand-written letter, an elderly man with dementia goes in search of the person responsible for the death of his family. Starring Christopher Plummer. Please contact Elda on Ext 155 if you would like to attend

Our Coffee Break IT Workshop will take place on Monday, 22 May at 10:30pm. Meet Kyle Knight, our technology specialist in the Clubhouse and chat to him about and the benefits of smartphones and anything else you need clarity on.

As you may be aware, Melomed Tokai Private Hospital has opened its doors within the Tokai area. Their newly launched facility houses 148 beds and can comfortably accommodate patients at any time, providing a wide spectrum of specialist services including cardiology, radiologists and a pathcare lab. Melomed has instituted an after-hours emergency service, allowing the surrounding community immediate access to medical care. Melomed Tokai would like to talk to residents about their multi-disciplinary services and 24-hour ambulance service with a presentation at our village on Thursday, 25 May at 15h00 in the clubhouse. We encourage  everyone to attend. For seating purposes, please book with Andréa on Ext 300.
