What’s happening next week 08/05/2017 – 15/05/2017

We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 10th May Jo Nixon (Unit 36) and 15th John Bester (Unit 34).

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 9 May at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a Chicken Pie and Seasonal Vegetables. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 8 May 2017. Unfortunately, no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay and sign for your meal by Tuesday morning.

Anton de Beer, Managing Director of our emergency healthcare system, Telecare, will be doing a presentation on the benefits of the system for Residents on Wednesday, 10 May at 3:30pm in the clubhouse. All Welcome.

The talk by André Bredenkamp on his excursions to Mount Everest in 2004 and 2007 promises to be an incredibly interesting visual presentation on Thursday, 11 May at 4:30pm. Please book your seat with Andréa as soon as possible.  Light refreshments will served.

Our Ceres Steam Train trip happening on Saturday, 20 May from Cape Town to Ceres. After a delicious lunch at Waverly Hills, a beautiful organic wine farm in the area and then wend our weary way home in comfort. The cost for the day’s outing will be in the region of R600 excluding refreshments, lunch and wine. Call Andréa on Ext 300 to book your place asap.

Just a reminder that the alteration of the clubhouse is still taking place and we apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to its completion in the next week or so. We will keep you posted on the progress.  Have a lovely weekend and remember to save water!
